The patterns on the surface of leaves, trees, insect wings or fruits are always fascinating, especially when magnified.<br\/>However, nature can do even better; nature repairs. If a tissue is damaged, whether by an insect bite, a scratch or an infection, the injuries heal.<br\/>Yet sometimes scars occur.  <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We all know it. The scar on your knee from falling off a scooter or the small mark on your arm after a hot burn from the iron. The older we get, the more &#8220;memories&#8221; such as these mark our skin.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Animals are also injured, stung, chafed or sunburned. These injuries heal just like ours and leave scars. For this reason, leathers are often sanded and given a finish so that the natural skin, with its unique individual characteristics, becomes a flawless, uniform material, like synthetic materials from industrial production <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.swedishtanners.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/healed-scars-scratch-scars-dung-marks.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-56301\" width=\"1071\" height=\"642\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.swedishtanners.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/healed-scars-scratch-scars-dung-marks.jpg 524w, https:\/\/www.swedishtanners.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/healed-scars-scratch-scars-dung-marks-300x180.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1071px) 100vw, 1071px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But leather only becomes truly beautiful with the small flaws, scars and color differences, because only then can we see that it comes from nature itself, without loss in function or quality.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Let&#8217;s accept nature as it is!
